ANN International Pty Ltd, trading as Annergy (ABN 39 628 044 360), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us, name, phone number, email address and property postcode, when you request a quote or contact us.
- Property and energy information: property type, roof details, indicative bill range, and (with your authority) twelve months of electricity interval data obtained from your distributor or retailer.
- Installation records: system design, equipment serial numbers, commissioning photographs and compliance certificates.
- Technical information collected automatically when you browse this site, such as pages viewed and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Why we collect it
- To assess your property, design a system and prepare a quote.
- To lodge grid connection applications with Energex and assign rebate certificates on your behalf.
- To carry out and warrant the installation, and to provide ongoing service and support.
- To meet our obligations under electrical safety, consumer and taxation law.
What we don't do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not supply it to lead-generation brokers or comparison services. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote. You have to opt in for that separately.
Who we share it with
We disclose your information only to parties who need it to deliver your system:
- Energex, for connection applications and metering coordination.
- The Clean Energy Regulator and our STC agent, to assign rebate certificates.
- Equipment manufacturers, where a warranty claim requires it.
- Our monitoring platform provider, so you can see your system's performance.
- Professional advisers, insurers or regulators where we are legally required to.
Storage and security
Records are held in access-controlled systems hosted in Australia. We retain installation records for the life of the warranty plus seven years, as required for electrical compliance and taxation purposes. Enquiries that do not become installations are deleted after two years.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If website analytics are enabled, they are configured to record aggregate visit data only, with IP addresses anonymised, and they are not used to build a profile of you or to retarget you with advertising.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email info@annergy.com.au or write to 40 Mascar Street, Upper Mount Gravatt QLD 4122. We respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first at info@annergy.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
